Madonna is teaming up with Iconix to create a collection all her own — Truth or Dare.
The lifestyle brand will begin with her perfume and then be followed by footwear, bags, accessories, and intimates.
The collection is aimed at her Madgesty's core demo which is women between the ages of 27 and 50 who possess a "timeless style and an innate sex appeal."
Over the past several years, I have been approached countless times to create my own brand. The timing is right and I have found great partners in Iconix, who can help translate my vision to reality.
We can expect to see the initial launch in Macy's 2012. In 2013, the collection will be distributed more widely at all the leading department stores in the US.
