Though it's not the first time agent Gerald Marie has been accused of rape, the details involved in this case are shocking.
Carre Otis, one of the biggest models of nineties, has exposed the relationship she shared with the man who was once her agent and landlord in her new memoir - Beauty, Disrupted.
When she was just a teen, she met the Elite executive and began renting a room from him and his then fiance, Linda Evangelista.
During her stay, she found a stash of cocaine in his bathroom. The two began snorting together. Gerald told Carre this was the secret to weight management.
In her book, Carre continues:
It was secretive, but it felt strangely safe. I liked the way Gerald would laugh with me when we snorted lines together. I liked the way he teased me gently.
And even as young as I was, I could figure out how my relationship with Gerald mirrored my dynamic with my dad. I had kept the secret of my father's alcoholism. Now I was keeping another older man's secret.
Gerald stood above me, ripping the covers from the bed. Before I could react, his sticky body was on me and those disgusting wet ringlets of his were falling on my face.
The smell of him made me want to vomit. Gerald seemed all too expert at getting what he wanted, and in the tangle of my naked legs and pleas and cries his hand found my mouth and clamped down, trying to silence me.
I remember nausea welling up. Then the involuntary gagging that began as he stood, looked down at me, then turned and stumbled out of the room.
Carre says it wasn't hard exposing him for her rape since he hasn't had a "squeaky clean" image for quite some time.
She now lives in Colorado with her second husband and their two daughters.
