And the designer shuffle continues!
Yves Saint Laurent has finally given creative director Stefano Pilati his walking papers.
The designer's final collection for the fashion house will be for the fall season, which is scheduled to walk on March 5th during Paris Fashion Week.
YSL's CEO Paul Deneve said of Pilati's departure:
"We are all at Yves Saint Laurent grateful to Stefano for his important achievements in advancing the mission and success of this historic and treasured fashion house."
PPR head honcho François-Henri Pinault added:
"I join Paul Deneve and the house of Saint Laurent in thanking Stefano for his dedication and contribution to the story of Yves Saint Laurent. I personally wish him all the best."
Both YSL and PPR wouldn't comment on who would be taking over, but according fashion insiders former YSL creative director Hedi Slimane is the frontrunner for the job.
Very inneresting. We can't wait to see how this all unfolds.
