Sarah Jessica Parker had a peculiar way of covering up last night at the Carnegie Hall Medal Of Excellence Gala.

The 47 year old stepped out in a pretty vintage Oscar de la Renta gown, but it was her white cardigan that really threw us for a loop.

It looks like SJP was rushing out the door and the only thing she could find was that.

OK, fine. The cardi isn't terrible, but a wrap or something a little more dressy would have worked much better.
