Belinda Carlisle is giving the Kardashian Home Kollection a run for its money with the launch of her own home accessories line for Bergdorf Goodman.
Appropriately called Belinda, The Go-Go's singer's collection features a variety of home goods like pillows and bedspreads made with textiles from a place she’s called her part-time home for the past two years — India!
Carlisle says of her line:
“I never thought I’d be doing anything like this, but Bergdorf’s approached me while I was doing press for my book three years ago. At first it was a way for me to feel better about all the shopping I do while I’m in India, but it’s been a great challenge to put on a business thinking cap.”
Pieces from Belinda are sewn by women in Calcutta associated with the Shuktara Project, a charity providing care for abandoned children with disabilities. Proceeds from the sale of Belinda will also benefit the charity as well.
If U like what U see Belinda Carlisle's home accessories are now available at Bergdorf and will launch next week at The Cross in London.
