Selena Gomez has submerged into the realm of celebrity fragrance and resurfaced in this soft, romantic, and playful advertisement for her debut, self-titled scent (originally thought to be called Kissable).

Selenita swims in a Maria Lucia Hohan dress dyed purple just for her, and has said about the under-water shoot:

“The water is actually lit from underneath, so it made it look pink and purple, like the colors of the bottle. I wanted it to look like I was swimming in my fragrance….I don’t really understand why I decided to be underwater [in the ad], but it looked cool!”

The fan-picked scent is dessert for the nostrils - with notes of vanilla, raspberry, and chocolate - and hits Macy’s shelves mid-May.
