What do you get when you mix Vogue Japan's fashion director at large with great style and a retail powerhouse???
H&M's newest collaboration with Anna Dello Russo, that's what!
The collection of accessories is exactly what you'd expect from the Italian editor: sunglasses, shoes, jewelry, bags and a trolley for the girl who wants to be noticed.
H&M's creative adviser Margareta van den Bosch thinks the pairing is a great fit:
“Anna has a fantastic eye and a strong taste, apart from being a veritable fashion icon. The collection is a celebration of excess, fantasy and decoration.”
Indeed it is. From the one photo we've seen, the collection is big on gold, turquoise and animal motifs.
Of course no one's as excited as ADR, especially since she's the first fashion editor to design a collection for H&M.
“This is the sign of an important evolution in fashion, and I am both thrilled and humbled to be the one chosen to lead it. I wanted to create precious accessories that are impossible to find. With these pieces everybody can have fun, turning an ordinary day into a fantastic fashion day.”
The collection drops at H&M stores worldwide on October 4th, but to satisfy your cravings watch Anna Dello Russo talk about her fancy baubles and accessories (below)!!!
