The folks at Benetton are back on good terms with the big guy upstairs now that they've settled their dispute with the Vatican.
In case you forgot, Pope Benedict sicked his legal team on Benetton last year over an ad that showed His Holiness kissing Imam Ahmed Mohamed el-Tayeb.
Now, almost 6 months later, both parties have reached a "peaceful" agreement.
Vatican spokesman Father Lombardi said the Holy See didn't want financial compensation, but rather for Benetton to make a "financial donation to help the charity work of the Church" and they did.
Compensation. Donation. Either way you slice the Vatican still got paid.
