Fifty Shades of Grey author EL James is taking a cue from Twilight and turning her best-selling book into a money making product machine!
The author has signed independent agency Caroline Mickler Limited to handle all the licensing opportunities and there's plenty of them!
Mickler said:
"The best-selling Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy is the biggest sensation to hit publishing in many years. The market's interest in Fifty Shades of Grey as a brand is enormous. With continuing book sales and a film version keeping awareness high, we expect this property to make a very strong showing in a number of licensed categories over the coming months."
So far lingerie, apparel, sleepwear, bedding, fragrances, beauty products and "adult" products are already being discussed and will no doubt be a big sexy hit with the book's female fans.
Make that money, girl!
