The show must go on.
After the passing of legend Joan Rivers, many wondered if her show Fashion Police would be able to carry on in her absence.

Kate Hudson has adored makeup since she was old enough to beautify her brother's face with cosmetics! (We're assuming it's Oliver!)
In fact, that's where Kate's cosmetic love story begins:
"My poor brother. He was kind enough to be my mannequin, and let me experiment on his face. I’d put blue eye shadow on him and we’d laugh."
As Kate grew up and watched mom Goldie Hawn get ready on movie sets, she ended the infatuation with using her sibling as a model and began playing with her mom's makeup artist's products.
The actress recalls:
"I remember my mom’s makeup artist, this wonderful, old-time sort of legend in the movie industry, Tom Case, who had one little box he’d carry with him. He’d pull out just four items, and make the most incredible face with those four things. He said, 'You can go in there as much as you want, but you have to put everything back exactly where you found it.'"
No wonder Kate always looks ravishing. It's easy to tell she learned from the best.
Now, the beautiful blonde is the face of Almay and frequently does her own makeup for events, as well as her friends.
“I love putting makeup on friends. I do it all the time. If I’m bringing them to a premiere, or we’re having a party, they’ll all come over early and I’ll do their makeup. I love it.”
That's what you call having skills! Maybe we can get Hudson to do our makeup too!
