Dumping important jobs in Hollywood is all the rage!
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has ditched her hosting job on Project Runway All Stars to film Mad Max instead.
The model took off to Namibia to begin filming for Mad Max: Fury Road, and left the show's producers desperately seeking a new host.
Luckily, producers were able to scramble and find a new host, the face of Estée Lauder, Carolyn Murphy, a few days before the television series began it's taping.
A source said:
"Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host. Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She’d charmed everyone. But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do Mad Max, creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terrible position, and the Weinstein Co. even threatened to sue Rosie."
Oh shiz! Turns out, Rosie has a different story.
A close source to the supermodel said:
"She was never fully committed to the project and there was no signed contract."
The show began filming in early June with judges Georgina Chapman and Isaac Mizrahi, guest stars Kylie Minogue, Stacy Keibler and Katie Holmes, and Marie Claire's Joanna Coles as the mentor.
We think what the Huntington did to producers was pretty unprofessional and improper for what she did. Especially since even Katie Holmes made the effort to show up despite all the divorce dramz going on in her life!
