Rather than holding another boring runway show, Domenico and Stefano opted to show their 73-look collection to limited press, VIP clients and celebrity guests including Stephanie Seymour and Scarlett Johansson at an old monastery in Sicily.
The couture creation were created at their Milan-based atelier and featured all sorts of bells ans whistles including sheer, Sicilian lace, intricate embellishments, bows, hand-painted florals, and jewels.
Stefano said their main focus "was not to do new, new, new. It was to craft something beautiful, special and unique" and based on what we've seen, they did just that.
Dolce & Gabbana couture will be sold first come, first served basis, which means shoppers are going to have to dig deep into their pockets if they want a piece.
