How's this for something different?
UGG's is known for their cozy warm boots, but starting this fall, the brand is introducing sandals, heels, and boots without the furry insoles.
UGG creative director Leah Larson gives the deets about the pre-fall and fall 2012 lines:
"The inspiration behind Pre-Fall is all music and women who rock, like Stevie Nicks and Joan Jett, who were some of my idols growing up. So Pre-Fall is a reflection of rock of the 70's while the core Fall collection is all about New York City."
"Every season we start out with a main inspiration but we are constantly inspired by our costumer. She likes to have fun and she takes risks. This is how she can take risks. Who doesn't want to wear the classic boot. It's the most comfortable thing you can put on your feet, but we also want to look good and feel good at the same time. The whole point of the collection was not having to sacrifice comfort for fashion. I think we are definitely surprising people. I hope we are surprising people each season. The key is surprising them without going too far out there."
If you're feelin' the label's new collection, then you'll definitely love the accessories that UGG is also offering this fall.
Leah talks about the edgy trinkets:
"We've been having a lot of fun with the accessories. It's been expanding like crazy. We brought it back in house for Fall 2011 and now we have a whole leather goods line full of wallets and crossbody bags and all the tech gadget covers. It's been fun! Now, we're working on travel for Fall 2013, more overnight, weekender stuff."
Now, not only can you dip your pretty toes into some fleecy kicks, but if you feel the need to take your UGG style up a notch, you'll be able to change into a dressier version of the shoes and spice your outfit up with their new pretty ornaments.
UGG just got even more uggalicious!
