This is going to be a sparkling event!
Swarovski hollered at stylist Kate Young to administer their fall 2012 exhibit that will showcase styles from prominent fashion notables.
The affair's design aesthetics is led by Todd Shearer, and is taking place at the Museum of Modern Arts in New York in the secluded dining space where the items will be tucked away in cube sculptures.
Young said of the show's inspiration:
"I'm mainly inspired by the designers and the interesting ways they've played with Swarovski Elements. I selected my favorite pieces from the designers who worked with Swarovski for fall/winter ‘12. I absolutely love the embroideries on the Jason Wu pieces — I think the way he used crystal with mink and silk embroidery is innovative and beautiful. I also love how playful the Tom Binns pieces are, and I always love a sparkly shoe."
To show how the crystals are incorporated into the luxurious items, bedazzled iPads with runway clips will be present at the exhibition.
Designers who will be in attendance are Chris Peters, Marlon Gobel and Bibhu Mohapatra.
The spectacle will reveal this Wednesday and we're sure it is going to be a gem!
