Medieval Lingerie Proves Bras Have Been Around For Centuries

Lingerie just got medieval on your ass — and boobies!
Archaeologists in Tyrol, Austria stumbled upon a set of lace and linen bra and panties hidden beneath in a vault beneath the floorboards of a castle.
The Museum of London’s fashion curator, Hilary Davidson, said:
"Nothing like this has ever come up before. These finds are a very exciting insight into the way people dressed in the Middle Ages. It's rare that everyday garments of any kind survive from this period, let alone underwear."
The discovery could also potentially re-write fashion history as we know it because historians previously believed the brassiere was a modern invention.
They also claimed men were the only ones who wore underwear while women donned a smock or chemise with nothing underneath.
We never knew medieval women were so scandalous, then again compared to the floss ladies wear today it's almost like nothing's changed.
Check out the bikini-style panties (below)!
