Karl Lagerfeld Has Shu Uemura Seeing Red

Most people use pastels in sketches, but not Karl Lagerfeld!
The designer has admittedly used Japanese brand Shu Uemura's makeup to tint and shade his drawings over the last 20 years, and now he's finally getting his own holiday collection aptly called Karl Lagerfeld for Shu Uemura.
Unkle Karl even created a little character for them with red eyes named, Mon Shu. He explained:
"It was not easy to make a limited choice with all the things they have and do. It all was supposed to go with the doll I designed for them, the mood, the spirit. I wanted to invent my personal vision of a Japanese manga."
And that he did. Mon Shu will appear on all the packaging for the 17 piece line, which includes two eye-and-cheek palettes, faux lashes made of red-and-black fabric, lip shades, nail polish and stickers.
The brand's iconic cleansing oil and UV Under Base mousse are also included.
Karl Lagerfeld's beauty products will be available in the UK, US and Canada in October and worldwide in November, which may seem far away but it'll give you plenty of time to save your ca$$$h.
Prices start at $27 for nail polish, $36 for lipstick, $85 for eye-and-cheek palettes and $368 for a large makeup box.
At these prices, and with these vivid colors, it’s easy to understand how Shu Uemura generates about 80 percent of Asia’s business!
