Nina Garcia's Tweet Raises JCPenney's Stock

Nina Garcia and her Twitter account are making moves for JCPenney!
Marie Claire's fashion director was recently named the retailer's Style Voice curator, and now she's making JCP's stock soar in less than 140 characters.
"I’m @jcpenney’s HQ. Thank you Ron Johnson for the walk through of JCP’s prototype. Get ready to shop! Its going to be a game changer!"
JCPenney's stock wasn't doing so well before Nina's brief message, but as soon as she 'Tweet', the stock spiked nearly 10%.
The Project Runway judge has over 470,000 Twitter followers, so with her fame and many fans, we're not surprised the tweet impacted the stock.
However the increase was short-lived because the stock dipped back down and closed at $22.05, which was still a 5% gain for the day.
Oh well, that's still a good day just off of a single tweet!
