The tides are turning on the Kardashians, at least at the newsstands anyway.
The Audit Bureau of Circulations released magazine sales figures for the first half of the year this week and it's evident people aren't running to pick up any issues with the reigning Kweens of reality TV plastered on them.
Kim's Allure cover sold 7% below average and the sisters' Glamour issue was the mag's second worst-selling.
But it's OK, they're in good company. Other newsstand duds include athletes like Ryan Lochte, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato and Katy Perry.
So who are the glossies' golden children???
Unlike their British counterpart, Vogue had a massive hit Adele, which sold 410,000 copies
Glamour struck gold with Lauren Conrad's May issue with more than 500,000 copies sold.
Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz were both huge successes for InStyle, each selling 794,000 and 538,000 copies respectively.
Despite being dead for 50 years, Marilyn Monroe proved to be a hit for Vanity Fair, with a whopping 353,000 copies sold.
As for Elle, they struck it rich with Kristen Stewart's June issue, which sold a reasonable 217,000 copies, while Zooey Deschanel was Marie Claire's #1 cover girl with 247,354 copies sold.
Based on these findings we think it's safe to say we'll be seeing a whole lot less of the Kardashians and a lot more of the
talented pretty young things of Hollywood in the future.
What do U think?!?
