The Met's Prada & Schiaparelli Exhibit Wasn't A Hit

That's a wrap!

The Met's Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit came to a close on Sunday and attendance was wayyyy down.

Compared to last year's record-breaking Alexander McQueen exhibit, which was viewed by more than 661,000 people, only 339,838 came out to see Schiaparelli and Prada.

Even though the McQueen exhibit was extended twice, the numbers are still pretty disappointing, but not exactly surprising either.

Hopefully next year's will be more inneresting.

Vice Magazine Attempts To Turn Famous Suicides Into A Glamorous Fashion Spread

There's a VERY fine line between art and a totally tasteless portrayal of suicide, and Vice magazine definitely straddled it with a fashion spread called "Last Words" in the their Women in Fiction issue.

The spread features models reenacting the suicides of famous writers, including Virginia Woolf, Dorothy Parker (who attempted suicide several times but ultimately died of a heart attack at 73), Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Sylvia Plath, Taiwanese author Sanmao, historian Iris Chang, and poet Elise Cowen.

Like any typical fashion story, the models' outfits were meticulously styled
