Even before we had any specific details, this collection sounded brazilliant, but now we’re sold!
"This just seemed like the right time to do [a bigger effort]… Andy said, 'If everybody’s not a beauty, then nobody is.' This is the same sentiment I wanted to bring to life with Nars — a forward-thinking attitude toward beauty, and the encouragement to inspire self-expression, creativity and artistry in the women who wear it."
Pop Art Collection, the first of two, will be available exclusively at Sephora starting October 1st, and includes a Debbie Harry cheek and eye palette, five new lip glosses packaged in a soup can, a Walk on the Wild Side set, and three flower eyeshadow compact with a Warhol quote on the mirror.
The second and more monochromatic batch will debut at department and specialty stores a month later on November 1st. The collection features a $200 Silver Factory set, an Edie Sedgwick-inspired set, a mini nail polish set and three Self Portrait eye shadow palettes.
There will also be 16 items which will be available at both locations: five polishes, a highlighting brush, a long-wear eyeliner, four shadow pencils, and five lip glosses.
The collections will remain in stores, until they sell out, which is projected to take about three months.
These pallets are so pretty that we think they'd look just as good as art! Ha!
