Katie Holmes is about to get PAID!
On Wednesday we shared that Bobbi Brown Cosmetics tapped the actress to be their very first face, and now, deets on the deal surfaced.
Not only will Katie appear in the new Tom Munro-lensed campaign, she's also collaborating on a color cosmetics capsule collection for the A/W 2013 season.
According to Brown, the whole thing came together about 8 weeks ago after meeting Katie through a mutual friend.
"We had tea in the afternoon. And then it was, 'Oh, my God, you would be the perfect face for Bobbi.' We weren’t looking for a celebrity, just a cool, amazing woman who would fit with our brand. And she’s just ridiculously naturally beautiful.”
This is Holmes' first dive into beauty products, but with her positive and go-getter attitude, she said:
"I’m going to create a line for real women who want to look pretty and have it be easy. I will be watching over every woman as she buys her lipstick."
And to make this "significant opportunity" even more wonderful, Brown will be doing the makeup at the Holmes & Yang New York Fashion Week presentation next week.
Now that's an efficient use of a collaboration!
Industry insiders say Holmes will pocket $2-$3 million from the multi-year deal, which means she'll have plenty of ca$$$h hanging around if Tom Cruise's child support dries up.
