Rihanna’s New ‘Do Was In The Works For Awhile

Rihanna officially debuted her short hair at the VMAs on Thursday, but it wasn’t a snap decision.

Or was it?

Her hairstylist Ursula Stephen explains:

"We had been talking about going short for a little while now and actually planned to do it the following week, but I just felt like, why wait? Let's do it today! And Ri said the same thing. She was ready for her short hair again!"

We're glad they did it early because RiRi looked so chic when she received her Video of the Year award!

And judging by Chris Brown's actions he lovey dovey-ed it too!

Vice Magazine Attempts To Turn Famous Suicides Into A Glamorous Fashion Spread

There's a VERY fine line between art and a totally tasteless portrayal of suicide, and Vice magazine definitely straddled it with a fashion spread called "Last Words" in the their Women in Fiction issue.

The spread features models reenacting the suicides of famous writers, including Virginia Woolf, Dorothy Parker (who attempted suicide several times but ultimately died of a heart attack at 73), Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Sylvia Plath, Taiwanese author Sanmao, historian Iris Chang, and poet Elise Cowen.

Like any typical fashion story, the models' outfits were meticulously styled
