Now this is what we call a vintage vixen!
Marion Cotillard scored a cover on Dior's first print magazine, and we're loving every bit of her structural look!
For the Jean-Baptiste Modino shot, the French actress wears Dior's iconic 1947 New Look design that includes a Bar jacket, flare skirt, chic hat and perfect black gloves.
Dior chief executive officer Sidney Toledano opened up about why he took A New Direction and went with a mag:
"It’s important today to differentiate ourselves.”
The 110-page No. 1 fall/winter issue will be available September 10 to elite customers in English and French, and mag's in seven different languages, which include, German, Italian, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and simplified Chinese will be available at a later date.
Toledano said the mag is nothing like a regular mag, but is:
"Another way to communicate luxury. This is not a catalogue. It’s fresh and modern. It’s how we see ourselves, our own maison. I think it translates perfectly the mood of the company right now.”
The print issue is set to follow the February intro of online reports on Diormag.com, which according to the company, already has at least 2.6 million visitors.
With how fierce Dior's Bag Lady's cover looks, we cannot wait to see what the inside of the magazine is going to look like.
It's definitely going to be nothing short of AH-MAYZING!!!
