Monique Lhuillier Goes Under The Sea!

For Monique Lhuillier’s S/S 2013 show, the designer ditched the safety of dry land and took the plunge.

The designer was inspired by the sea after cruising the Mediterranean, and it showed in her sparkly, wavy, peplum designs. They were nearly all cinched at the waist, which gave each model an accentuated hourglass figure.

The gowns even moved like the water, swaying back and forth as the models sashayed down the catwalk.
