An effortlessly chic Sarah Jessica Parker graces one of the many covers of The Hollywood Reporter's Emmy Icons issue!
Besides looking fabulous in her LBD, the Sex and the City opened up to the mag about what the show and Carrie Bradshaw did for fashion, even if most viewers couldn't afford her style!
"It wasn’t someone just buying clothes off a rack and putting them on. It had an enormous impact on the fashion industry…The fashion was exciting, but what was unique and special was that the language was so new — and I don't mean the salty, ribald, provocative stuff. A woman like Carrie was unlikable to many people in terms of how she spent her time, how she spent her money, her personal choices about children and marriage and affairs. But there was a human-ness to her that people connected to."
Ah, yes! We're sure many viewers could relate to being robbed at gunpoint for their Fendi baguette and stappy Manolo Blahniks that were purchased at a sample sale.
