For the main pic, the designer wore a MaxMara wool dress, Jacob & Co. cross necklace, and Kwiat jewels.
For the in-depth interview, the haute mama talks with Lindsay Silberman about her career, but definitely not her personal life.
On holding the first piece of jewelry she designed:
"It was unlike any feeling. I can’t even…I can’t even put it into words."
On her Fashion Star role:
"It’s my job to let them know I’m here for them, and if they have fears about showing their true colors, that I know exactly how that feels."
On designs being chosen:
"Every season, I have pieces that I’m passionate about but for whatever reason the stores don’t want them. You have to get used to it, show them another season. You have to let them go."
What a real answer! We rarely get to hear about the items that don’t get picked up!
