Conde Nast says they'll never ever ever feature an underage model in any international Vogue magazines. Like ever.
The decision to crack down on their newly self-imposed Health Initiative, came about after a 15 year old snuck into China’s August issue as an up-and-coming model.
But now Conde Nast is totes putting their designer-clad foot down and requiring agencies to provide documentation of the model's age. You know, because counting the rings is out of the question.
In order to save face, Vogue Chine explained their not so fashionable flub by saying the spread was prepared before the health initiative was enacted.
The fashion pub has assured everyone that it will not happen again, unless of course the article is about childrens clothes.
We’re okay with that. After all, it would look weird to see adults in kids clothes! Ha!
