We wonder if the company CEO also volunteered!
That's right, volunteer as in "free!"
Not cool. Especially since many salaried employees already work longer than 40 hours a week without getting paid more.

If she wasn’t a brand before, she's definitely becoming one now because Taylor Swift just landed a three year deal with Keds!
For the first order of business, the footwear company is releasing a limited edition red shoe to coincide with her new album, RED, which drops October 22nd.
The songstress explained why she’s sososo excited about partnering with the classic brand, saying:
"I’ve been a fan of Keds for years, because they have two of my favorite elements of great style — they’re classic and effortless. I remember wearing Keds as a little kid, while riding my bike around the farm. When I got older, I started wearing them again. There’s something cool about shoes that you can grow up with. I think they add something casual and cool to your look, and the new colors and patterns are so eclectic. I love pairing them with vintage looks.”
To hype up the release of Swift's kicks, Keds is launching a campaign that encourages girls between the ages of 13 to 24 to share their stories of strength and bravery, and it will start with Taylor’s!
Keds brand president, Rick Blackshaw, said Taylor's "a superpositive role model for girls, a hero, in a sense" and hopes her story of moving to Nashville to pursue her singing career will inspire others to divulge their own.
"Everything that we do runs through Taylor in terms of production in our collaboration. She’s our North Star. She will help us expand the brand."
Wow! Sounds like this is going to be a fabulous and successful partnership!
Ch-ch-check out the new kicks (below)!
