Hallelujah! We have an explanation!
Julianne Hough has a pretty inneresting sense of style, and now we know why!
The starlet recently talked about her fashion choices, and we have to say it’s a bit as confusing as her answers.
Julianne gushed about her Emmys dress and how happy she was about it, saying:
"It could have been a cheesy, Little Mermaid-princess, or it could have been a couture gown. With this beautiful princess dress, I did my makeup more edgy and more French with almost no jewelry."
It definitely wasn’t our favorite dress of hers, but her other looks have been worse. Still though, she’s been happy with them and trying out trends, explaining:
"One day I’m feeling a certain way and I’m very feminine. And then the next day, I’m a little bit more edgy with leather. And some days I like to wear men’s clothing… I think the last few months is when I’ve really stepped out of the box and have tried to take some risks and chances. I think that I’ve been more comfortable and I’ve felt better and I’ve gotten more response in the last couple of months than I ever have."
She went on to talk about her overall style sense, stating, "I want to say I’m schizophrenic with my fashion."
Yes! We couldn't have found a better word for it.
And her biggest fashion tip for all her style lovers out there:
"Don’t go overboard with trends. Choose one trend at a time. Don’t do like the oxblood, the leather pants and a leather jacket. That might be a little too much. Just wear it sparingly. But my biggest do is just always wear what makes you feel good and what you’re comfortable in. Fashion is supposed to be fun and give off something about who you are."
Well, she’s not the first person that we’d take style advice from, but we’re glad she’s confident enough to give it.
