Wow, way to up the ante, W!
It-girl-of-the-moment Jessica Chastain covers W magazine's "Art Meets Fashion" issue not once but four times (!), and each look is totally unique & fascinating.
We're not sure which one we like best!
The Zero Dark Thirty actress takes on the role of muse for four different artists, Rineke Dijkstra, Mickalene Thomas, George Condo, and Chantal Joffe, each of whom put their own spin on the redhead.
For Mickalene Thomas, Jessica is all 70s mod in a sleek bob, dramatic purple eyeshadow, and a Versace halter dress.
Rineke Dijsktra shot the actress au naturel in a white strapless gown with no makeup.
George Condo capitalized on Jessica's wild pre-Raphaelite looks, while artist Chantal Joffe while eschewed the camera all together and painted the actress in her signature style.
We think this is brilliant, and we'd love other fashion magazines to take W's example & get a bit more creative with their covers.
Hint, hint, Vogue.
