John Galliano Set To Make A Triumphant Comeback???

Well, it's always good to have Grace Coddington on your side, even if your replacement thinks you're irrelevant.

The creative director of American Vogue claims that erstwhile Christian Dior designer John Galliano has his sights set on coming back to the fashion world after he was given the boot when his anti-Semitic remarks were caught on tape.

Grace told British Vogue:

"I love John, I think he's brilliant. He certainly intends to come back - when he's ready. I hope he will return, but I don't know. That's a tough one to get over. That's tougher than the Gucci people thinking they want a change of face."

Hmmm, she doesn't sound as convinced as we'd like her to be.

And even though Galliano's remarks were deplorable, we do believe in second chances. If he's truly changed, we'd like to see him back in his atelier.
