We wonder if the company CEO also volunteered!
That's right, volunteer as in "free!"
Not cool. Especially since many salaried employees already work longer than 40 hours a week without getting paid more.

We can now all definitively put this red sole brouhaha behind us.
What we thought was essentially over about two months ago is now 100% no doubt about it over for sure, as a Manhattan federal district court entered a final order on Thursday dismissing the Christian Louboutin lawsuit against Yves Saint Laurent.
The earlier ruling stated that the red sole trademark would only be upheld if the shoes in question had contrasting uppers, which thus allowed YSL to continue manufacturing and selling its red-all-over pumps.
This order of dismissal basically warrants that Louboutin can never bring any more lawsuits against YSL's red pumps ever again, and that the case is officially and totally closed.
Although we can't quite think of any further claims that Louboutin could bring against YSL in this matter, but hey, it's good to have that sort of confirmation in writing!
Now, let's all put on some red shoes and party!
