We are insanely excited for the premiere of The CW's The Carrie Diaries, and this Teen Vogue February cover featuring the star of the show AnnaSophia Robb is really whetting our appetite!
For one thing, the 19-year-old blonde makes a perfect young Carrie in a striped Michael Kors tank and P. & C. Habig hat.
She's really got that quirky/pretty factor that Sarah Jessica Parker embodied so well as the grown-up Carrie in Sex and the City on the cover.
And we are just DYING over the gorgeousness of her clothes! There's so much to love!
In two of the shots, AnnaSophia rocks a dizzying geometric print Marc Jacobs sweater with striped eyeliner on her lids and, in a nod to Blair Waldorf perhaps, cute Jennifer Behr headbands.
The geometric trend continues as the actress models a striped Marc Jacobs sweat and skirt combo with Jimmy Choos and a checkered Louis Vuitton crop top with matching skirt.
She brings out the seksi guns in a white Calvin Klein bustier and Gucci snake print dress paired with Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
Of her 1980s wardrobe on the show, AnnaSophia claims that it won't be too '80s, saying:
"We call it 'aspirational authenticity.'"
So hopefully we won't get an overload of giant shoulder pads and white high-tops.
We are so ready for this show!
