One source claims the 18-year-old was actually bullied for being there -- apparently not everyone thought she earned the right to walk the shows!
The insider spilled:
Is there tension brewing between Nicki Minaj and her hairstylist??
Just a couple short months after Nicki's wig master Terrence Davidson gushed over the rapper in an interview, it seems like the two have now parted ways.
Davidson was responsible for picking many of Nicki's platinum blonde, pink, yellow, and even leopard spot wigs for some of her past appearances, but just as she's about to make her debut on American Idol tonight, he's confirmed that he has moved on.
"I've decided to step away as hair stylist and wig creator for Nicki Minaj. It has been an amazing experience offering me a chance to express my creativity and exhibit my love for the art form of wig design."
Before news of the split, Davidson praised Nicki, claiming how her unique look is changing the way of music. He said:
"Nick's doing it for everybody, not just women, not just female rappers, but for everybody who wants to be different, because her music is not right here. Her music is so many different levels, from pop to R&B to rap. And she's opened up a lane where it's just hers — and nobody else can really mess with it."
Hmm, during such a busy time in Nicki's life, we're surprised that one of the most important men in her life has decided to walk away.
Could there have been a falling out or just his time to move on? Guess we'll never know….
