Guess politicians aren't the only ones guilty of flip-flopping!
Karl Lagerfeld closed the Chanel Haute Couture show in Paris on Tuesday by sending two female models dressed in white gowns down the runway–a move that he later stated was to show his support for same-sex marriage
We hope he thanked French Elle for giving him that idea!
Regarding the controversy following French president François Hollande's bill to make gay marriage legal in France, the designer said:
"I don't even understand the debate. Since 1904 (in France) the church and state have been separate."
He also added that those who view marriage as totally sacred can still uphold their religious traditions in churches, temples, synagogues, and mosques, but that doesn't mean that religious institutions can be intolerant of same-sex unions.
Unkle Karl sang quite a different tune the last time he gave his thoughts on gay marriage!
We guess he's had a change of heart!
Which is nice, except he STILL doesn't believe that same-sex couples should be allowed to adopt children.
