CBS Wants The Grammys To Be Butt Crack, Nipple & Genital-Free!

| Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & TrueFashion SmashionGrammysWardrobe Malfunctionz

cbs wants all grammy talent to cover up no wardrobe malfunctions(1)

Well this is going to be boring!

The Grammys is known for crazy and fierce fashion, but this year CBS wants it to be family-friendly fun.

All celebrities attending on Sunday were sent an email with strict wardrobe guidelines, stating:

"Please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered. Thong type costumes are problematic. Please avoid exposing bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack… Bare sides or under curvature of the breasts is also problematic. Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples. Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible 'puffy' bare skin exposure. Please avoid commercial identification of actual brand name products on T-shirts. Foreign language on wardrobe will need to be cleared. OBSCENITY OR PARTIALLY SEEN OBSCENITY ON WARDROBE IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR BROADCAST. This as well, pertains to audience members that appear on camera.”

Puffy bare skin of the genital region!? LOLz!

Vaginas and scrotums have never sounded so fancy…and BORING!

Think anyone will follow these ridiculous rules?

Doubt it!

thank fuck, maybe bring the grammys back to what it's actually about; the music! people can still look hot without being trashy anyway!

Good luck with this but I'm more concerned with the language used… As for wardrobe - make it "black tie".

Seriously the US is so prude. Who cares!? The Grammy's could use some T and A… it's so boring.

Those rules don't sound ridiculous to me - perfectly reasonable if they want the show to be family friendly. Besides, there's still a lot that can be done with that wardrobe, as realistically it isn't THAT restricting. Beyonce's superbowl outfit would get past that. They're not telling performers to cover up all skin - just their tits, arse and vaginas as far as I can see. Sounds reasonable to me!

Finally Re: shaygirl1309 – lol so true, hope she wins

Have not watched the show in 5 years or more and do not feel like I am missing anything, sorry but I would rather watch Golden Globes and Oscars. I do love the aware season though as there are always lots of extra stories on Perez and other sites.

The ones that would merely see this as an invitation to do it and do it dirtier and raunchier.

HOW is that ridiculous!?! There will be children watching. Wow, SMH!

Oh please, CBS did this so more people would watch just to see who ignores this.

While it's understandable that they want to keep the venue family-friendly, this dress code advisory sounds sexist. As if it was specifically directed to just women. There are more mention of curves, breasts, etc. Not cool. If they were so concerned, they should have just said conservative black-tie, unless you're a moron anyone can understand the meaning of that.
