Anne Hathaway Looks A Little Miserables In Berlin

Anne Hathaway wears Chanel to Les Miserables photocall in Berlin

Anne Hathaway is the queen of the hit-and-miss outfits.

Sometimes she looks totally lackluster, and other times she hits an epic home run.

Sadly, this was not quite a home run.

Annie walked the white carpet for the Les Miserables photocall at the Berlin International Film Festival on Saturday in a navy Chanel Haute Couture dress that seemed to be having an identity crisis.

From the front, the dress totally works as a gorgeous mini sheath, but the long tulle train is just awkward and seems totally unnecessary.

If she'd ditched the train and black tights, we'd have definitely declared this one a winner.

And we really wish she'd done something different with her hair–those messy, falling-in-her-eyes bangs are not a good look!

    I think she looks slightly better than she usually does. It's the makeup that always makes her look bad. Ease up on the magic marker around her eyes and lighten up the lipstick color. For once her lips aren't the color of matted dried blood. The lighter lipstick color she's wearing makes her look younger and not like a vampire.

    It's Berlin, folks, that's why the dress and eye makeup are edgier than usual. Seem really appropriate to me.
