Oscars 2013: Barbra Streisand performs in Donna Karan at the Oscars

Legend coming through!!!

Barbra Streisand gave a beautiful performance of Memories during the In Memoriam segment at the Oscars on Sunday, looking demure yet stunning in a sparkly gold and black Donna Karan off-shoulder dress.

A multistrand gold necklace, black choker, and some snazzy looking cocktail rings completed her look.

And of course, we can't forget that '70s hair of hers! Ha!

Werk it Babs!

Goodness … the song is called "The Way We Were", NOT "Memories". Get it together, Perez!

Streisand looked and sounded wonderful! The older DIVAS like Dame Shirey Bassey,Jane Fonda and Barbra Streisand stole the show!

She def doesn't have the chops she had back in the day. I was less than impressed, I mean I didn't hate it, but it wasn't earth shattering and certainly didn't give me goose bumps like watching the original version!

she sounded as bad as she looked. why does she always wear that very low sweeping neckline when she shows no sign of cleavage? if you've got old lady cactus leaf tits why let the word know about them ? she should have stayed home. on the other hand, shirley bassey blew her away !!!

The song is "The Way We Were" not Memories.

If she had been smart, she would have left her fans with Memories,
memories of a time that she could sing, a time when her tits were perky ,and her face wasn't all bloated , a time when she was relevant

I love her, but didn't love this performance. She sounded like she had a cold.

ONCE AGAIN: THE NAME OF THE SONG IS NOT "MEMORIES"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU EVER READ THE COMMENTS ON HERE. YOU WERE SCHOOLED A FEW DAYS AGO ABOUT THE TITLE OF THE SONG. NO WONDER YOU HAVE D-LIST CRED AS A JOURNALIST. SERIOUSLY, IT'S DISRESPECTFUL TO THE WRITER OF THE SONG, AND ARROGANT AND DISMISSIVE. GET IT TOGETHER!!!
IT'S CALLED "THE WAY WE WERE"…AND YOU HAVE BEEN TOLD IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN…READ THE COMMENT SECTION OR GET RID OF IT. HOW LAME.

I'll always get chills from Barbra, but after seeing her in person, up close, in her first "this is my last concert" tour in the 90's in New York and comparing it to last night, her voice is a shell of what it once was. There's no power, there's little passion - its very very sad.

I think Barbra looked great! Since she is going to be 71 her voice is not always going to be there everytime. But it has taken a very long time for this to have happened, she has always been one of the greatest talents for 50 years now and deserves respect. The work she has done in the past has been brilliant and she has brought happiness to many people both with her music and films. Barbra will always been one of the greats! In 50 years they will be making a Broadway musical about her life and everyone will be still looking back and talking about what a rare talent she is.

While we, including Ms. Streisand, appreciate the shout-out, the song is not "Memories" but "The Way We Were." How could a gay pop culture fanatic NOT know that?
