Well, the dress has been found ... to be a fake!
The thief who took the gown says he took the dress from Lupita's room at The London after finding the door ajar.

There are many reasons to love Beyonce, but her continued efforts to empower girls and women all over the world is definitely number one!
The singer has joined Salma Hayek and Gucci's creative director Frida Giannini for the Italian brand's new global campaign, Chime For Change, which seeks to raise funds and awareness for various projects that benefit women and girls the world over.
The campaign will also empower by sharing "powerful stories" from strong, inspiring, and successful women.
"I have always felt strongly about equal opportunity for women. Girls have to be taught from early on that they are strong and capable of being anything they want to be. It's up to us to change the statistics for women around the world. I'm honored to be in the company of women who live fearlessly and set an example for the next generation of young ladies."
The campaign was officially announced at the TEDxWomen luncheon in El Lay on Thursday, and the clip (above), narrated by Salma Hayek with music by Bey, is the first in a series of 10 short Chime For Change videos featuring empowering women's stories.
This is a great campaign and we're not at all surprised by Bey's involvement.
We just hope the other nine videos come out sooner rather than later!
