Androgynous beauty Tilda Swinton has been named the new face of Chanel.
The actress will star in ads for the Metiers d'Arts Paris-Edimbourg campaign, which is the Scottish-influenced collection Karl Lagerfeld unveiled at Scotland's Linlithgow Palace back in December.
Unkle Karl personally picked Tilda to front the campaign, saying:
"Tilda perfectly embodies the Paris-Edimbourg collection. She is of course Scottish, but more than that, she is a modern woman, a timeless icon of elegance."
The 52-year-old was photographed by the creative director himself in a French castle near Chantilly.
Suffice it to say we can't wait to see these shots! We can already tell they're totally going to blow our mind!
Karl's art direction and Tilda's unearthly, avant-garde looks are an epic combo!
