We already showed you the epicness that is the new character posters for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and now we reveal the designers who brought the GORGEOUS outfits to glorious, glorious life for Katniss, Effie, and Johanna!
All the ladies rock elaborate, frothy ensems with some SRSLY decadent detailing that we are pretty much DROOLING over!
Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss (OBVIOUSLY!) is a post-apocalyptic bride in a custom gown by Indonesian designer Tex Saverio who draped the District 12 tribute in layers upon layers of ruffled chiffon, a strapless bodice adorned with Swarovski crystals, and metal sculptural accents that rise up sort of like a phoenix from the ashes, if you will.
Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket looks perfectly at ease in her magenta ruffled frou-frou dress and matching heels from none other than Alexander McQueen!
How GENIUS to put her in a luxurious McQueen number — it makes perfect sense!
And finally there's Jena Malone, who plays the badass Johanna Mason. She also boasts a voluminous train of bronze ruffles on her high-neck one-sleeved gown that gives her an unmistakably regal air. Her Alkemie cuff made up entirely of gold nails only adds to her edgy persona.
We can't WAIT to see these AH-Mazing couture confections on the big screen!
