Taylor Swift may top the music charts, but newsstand sales are a whole other story!

In 2012 the I Knew Your Were Trouble singer had FOUR of the worst selling magazine covers! Ouch!

Swifty started out the year by covering Vogue's February issue, which sold a paltry 329,371 copies. That's just a little over half of the mag's best-selling issue of 2012, which sold 602,000 copies.

Come November, Taylor did a little bit better with her Glamour cover, selling 443,000 copies of the November issue. Of course that number was no match for the year's top seller: Lauren Conrad's May issue.

Really.

T-Swizzle's Harper’s Bazaar issue also saw lackluster sales with only 138,412 copies flying off the shelves. But compared to Gwen Stefani's September issue, which only sold 166,365 copies, what's 30,000 magazines?

Taylor's final flop came during her birthday month of December. The 23 year old graced the cover of Cosmo, which ultimately became the mag's worst-selling issue of the year with just over 1 million copies sold.

So why is everyone being so hard on little Swifty? Glamour’s editor-in-chief, Cindi Leive said:

"There may have been a little hiccup for her right around the 1-D relationship. But it’s nothing a pro can’t come back from. I’d put money on her for the long run."

Yes! It's all Harry Styles' fault! Ha! We kid, we kid.

But really, who cares if you can't sell magazines? When Taylor's music stops selling, that's when she should worry!

    So are you spear-heading or just stoking the T-Swizzle takedown. Bring 'em up. Rip 'em down. Jada Pinkett-Smith made a very interesting point in her recent address on youth & fame. It is really fair game? Yeah, she's rich and famous, but she's 22 and living in a fish bowl, and so many that came before and lived similarly are now dead. Yeah, if I were the Beibs, I'd high-tail it to Amsterdam too. I was under the impression, Mario, that the PerezHilton brand was attempting to transcend. I'll attest to your headway, but it's not enough. This particular report is not outright bullying, but considering the Swifty hate that's "trending" right now, it has the same stink.

    On a another note, please find a more appropriate word other than 'slam' to head your reports. You've cheapened it with over-use and misuse. Bang your drum carefully.

    Cindi, who are you kidding, this is the second year that Taylor Swift's magazine cover recieved the lowest sales. She had the lowest sales in 2010 as well. So it is not 1-D. I agree with rosebud99, women don't want to read about her. It is what it is.

    I think she's way over exposed. And lately, every story about her is related to her many short-term relationships. Those stories have been run into the ground, so she's become tiresome on that front as well. I just saw a picture of her visiting a 10 year old cancer patient. A good deed? Sure. Would have been a better deed if she hadn't used the visit for a phot-op.

    I don't think it has anything to do with Harry. She's over saturated at this point. Every magazine cover has her and her face is everywhere. We know about her boyfriends, her love songs, so most of us would rather buy something else.

    If you morons actualy read thr report you would find out that even though she was not the best seller her magazine covers sold above the 1year average for every magazine she was on. But facts dont matter any more. Above average sales dont make for a headlines SHE CAN'T SELL MAGAZINES MAKS HEADLINES.

    Taylor's magazines are selling just fine, thank you! You might think of a retraction, Perez. Check out E!Online. Or better yet, GossipCop, they track down all these gossipy snarky stories and figure out the truth. Truth is, sloppy interpretation of the original WWD numbers led to dumb stories. Swift sold great across the board. The only dip was Glamor–the cover was about her and Conor, and they'd split. No, GaGa and Adele didn't do better. They were just on the Spring and Fall issues, which always sell more! Just read GossipCop then write a new story!!! Taylor will be on magazine covers for a long time!!
