We are a country of celebrity worship run by celebrities. It would be nice if they would channel some of the energy they put into Vogue photo shoots and appearances on the Jimmy Kimmel show to do some good in this country. What ever happened to humility? They are truly disgusting people.

I think it is sick the obsession with Michelle Obama being on the cover of every magazine and every talk show. Presidential families are our royalty. In comparison, do you see Prince Harry sitting down for every interview and doing the cover of GQ. No! And, I find it funny how Laura Bush did not get the same attention from Vogue, when she is every bit as elegant and in my opinion, more beautiful, than Michelle. But, this is like everything else, more propaganda, because this administration doesn't seek notoriety from good work, they seek it from being over-publicized in superficial ways.

I think it is debatable whether she is a good role model or not. This is a woman who said she was finally proud of her country when Obama was a potential nominee for President. What she failed to mention was that Carol Mosley Braun ran for President as not only an African-American, but as a woman. So, what, she wasn't proud then? I don't think that sets a very good example for women when they ignore other women around them. But, more of the same from them. Do what I say, not as I do.

Re: @v@ – Have to agree, hope they solve this budget problem in the rnext month, as it as affecting many places starting with our National Parks. I will be traveling to Mexico in May for 10 days and just hope this is solved so I do not go thru longer TSA lines and Immigration on return. I am doing wheelchair assist so that does speed
things up by quite a bit.
