Princess Diana's Dresses Sell For Over $1.2 Million!

When we heard that Princess Diana’s dresses were going up for auction again, we knew they’d go for a pretty penny.
And they DID!
All ten of the dresses auctioned off at Kerry Taylor Auctions on Tuesday raked in a whopping $1,209,120.
The best seller in the lot was the Victor Edelstein gown Princess Di wore when she danced with John Travolta at the White House, which fetched $362,736.
Dayum!
No word if Prince William bought one as a surprise for Kate Middleton, but if not, no worries. She'll always have that fabulous sapphire and diamond ring!

They (royalty) must be getting desperate or something if their sellin' off this dress. Why else would they sell something like this? Either that or the rumors that they disapproved of her were true, and don't want anything of her memory around.
