Yoko Ono is being sued by an up-and-coming designer for copying her designs and calling them her own!
In the lawsuit filed in Brooklyn federal court, Haleh Nematzadeh accuses John Lennon's widow of blatantly stealing her ideas and selling them in the form of her cray cray clothing line she designed for Opening Ceremony.
The 36 year old says the thievery went down after she met with an OC photographer in July in hopes of having her fetish-inspired Gonna Walk the Night collection snapped and featured in the retailer's catalog.
A shoot was ultimately set-up, but the photogs met with Ono's designers instead, who then "altered the garments into a men's line without permission". Or at least that's what Haleh believes.
Ono and Opening Ceremony have yet to comment, but you gotta admit the resemblance is uncanny.
What do U think? Coincidence or a knockoff???
