Miranda Kerr has finally opened her pretty lips to set the record straight about why she's leaving Victoria's Secret.
In a lengthy statement, the Aussie confirms previous reports that she's just too damn busy to parade around in her wings.
"This is a natural evolution. The thing is, I've been modeling since I was 13. I'm now entering a new phase in my life. I have felt this coming since my son was born and, after I became a mother, I realized I needed to prioritize my time. It's really important I give 100 per cent to my clients and I have to be careful to make strategic long-term decisions with my personal and business interests. I've reached a point in my career where I'm developing my own opportunities that are really reflective of my passions. I'm just not in a position to commit to a full contract at this time. It's three months at a bare minimum."
Good for her! She’s becoming a real brand just like the entrepreneurial Angels before her!
As we mentioned before, Miranda says she'll definitely join her fellow Angels on the VS catwalk in November, but until then will be focusing her attention on promoting her second book Empower Yourself, beauty line KORA Organics, and campaigns with Mango, Qantas, Clear Hair & Scalp Therapy, Samantha Thavasa, Reebok and Kids Helpline.
That IS a lot!
Oh, and somewhere between all that she plans on moving to NYC now that hubby Orlando Bloom will be starring in Romeo & Juliet on Broadway.
Dayum! Busy bee!
We wish you nothing but success, Miranda!
