I agree that position sounds harsh, but I can understand it. No matter how good your design looks, if the person wearing it has a terrible body, the garment will look terrible by association. The fashion industry has always used super-thin models to show off their clothes. The industry's position on plus-sizes is well established.
GOOD FOR HIM! I totally agree! Certain clothes shouldn't be made certain sizes anyway. Maybe we should become like Japan in their attitude towards obese people.
I wear an XS in A&F and my biggest complaint is that it's too big/loose. they need to make an XXS size. but people tell me i have bullshit problems.
"We wouldn't wanna shop anywhere that could be so prejudiced."
Perez didn't you read? They DON'T want unattractive people shopping there… AKA they don't want you shopping there. Way to play right into their hands. lol
and this is why they are about to go bankrupt
I mean, yes he's a superficial dick, and abercrombie is not doing so well anymore, but I do agree with his 'exclusionary' business plan. Abercrombie actually goes up to size 12…. and those pants are freakin HUGE. anyone larger than that has a health issue. I dont understand why we condone obesity for the sake of 'not hurting anyones feelings'. YES it is your choice how you want to look, no one can tell you to look a certain way. But, if i had a clothing brand, I wouldn't cater to obesity either. It makes obese people feel that they're 'just fine the way they are'. do we tell diabetics that theyre 'just fine the way they are'? I dont know why there isn't any hype about the lack of 'XS' sizes — one of my best friends is naturally very thin and has trouble finding clothes! if you're going to lump all skinny people into the 'anorexia' category, and limit how small your sizes go, then why can't you lump all fat people into the 'unhealthy' category and limit how big sizes go?
I'd like to point out the irony of this guy only wanting "beautiful people" to wear his clothes. Mike Jeffries is the ugliest person I've ever laid my eyes on.
This is disgusting!!! I will never again shop A&F for myself or as gifts for others. Discrimination much?
Honestly the people who are commenting are full of shit. Abercrombie appeals to a majority of teenagers, as then those teens grow out of it. There is nothing innovative and the design quality is just a copy of everything else on the market with the Abercombie Logo. Personally I would never wear there clothing, because at the end of the day your paying $$$ to wear there obnoxious logo on the front of your chest, and the worst part is you could for the same price buy something from a brand name such as Armani, Michael Kors, Bebe for something much better quality most of the time.
good finally someone encouraging obese ppl to lose weight. If your fat u should be planning to loose weight anyway y buy expensive clothes that wont fit once u lose the weight?? i mean doesnt everyone wanna be healthy and not gross??
Gee, let's not celebrate all shapes and sizes, let's give people eating disorders instead! This is completely screwed up and anyone that buys into this way of thinking is equally as screwed up. Clearly he promotes bullying and alienation in schools, but yet, he himself looks like Sloth from "The Goonies." Karma.
Anyone saying size 12 is huge clearly has NO ASS. To the chick who said A&F jeans are huge, do I feel bad for you. LOL
Wow, it doesnt matter who you are or who you market to, that is complete rubbish. Congrats to you Mike Jeffries for making millions of young girls feel like garbage. And the fact of the matter is, the clothes are awful. They're overpriced and wear out way too fast. I am not a person who normally likes to post negative comments, but what he said undoubtedly made girls everywhere feel like they arent good enough, which is absolutely not the case. But I guess he will get what he wants, I'll never spend my hard earned money at any of those stores again.
What about his face though? He is an ass for this but so many other designers don't go above a small in many of there designs, size 6 at the most. They are saying the same thing as this dude, just not out loud.
If you compare his ugly mug to that of the elephant man there is quite a strong resemblance. Don't hate, just saying. Just exercising my right to free speech and expression. He has the gall to say that the store only caters to the good looking people does that mean he can't shop there?
Re: Mr.TaylorSwift – hahahahaha nicely put
My issue is not that they don't make clothes for certain sizes but that this guy WANTS his clothes to make others feel badly about himself. He is cruel and a bully. And needs to be fired.
Re: lala – haha, I just googled him, my god yes he is one ugly mofo
Oh wow,Serically.Abercombie is for snotty "Rich Kids" who think there all that.I mostly shop at H&M,Forever 21,American Eagle,Hot Topic,Delia's,Pac Sun,and Tilly's and they do way better than Abercombie or Hollister. The Abercombie Ceo are just a bunch of models who think they own it all,But they don't because there usually quite ugly. Some people should'nt wear tight clothes but still it's wrong to only alow "Cool Kids" shop at your store. So,think about how the overweight people feel.
I recently quit Brandy Melville due to the fact that they also are pushing a ' NO FATTIES ' policy. I literally heard more than one person in the company calling it that name. Dispicable.
Wow, so it isn't about size as much as only "cool" people should wear their clothes. What a poorly run company. You should be striving for everyone to wear your clothing, not just the jocks and cheerleaders. As far as size goes, a girl might have to wear an XL because of their bust size. Also big guys play sports and may need larger sizes. So basically A&F only what twigs to wear their clothes. Nice. I've been in their stores and it really isn't that impressive. If I were in high school I'd much rather go to Forever 21 and get cute stuff that doesn't cost so much. What a poorly run company.
Re: babyrach – Your spelling and grammar is phenomenal.
Since when do cool kids wear Abercrombie and Fitch? Seriously if I see someone wear anything A&F, I automatically think douche bag. The clothes are hideous.
Re: candied20 – How the hell do you know that if someone is bigger than a size 12 they have health issues? Show me your PhD and then I'll listen. His statement isn't even just about weight but cool kids vs losers. With all the bullying that goes on now his statement is rude and very ignorant.
Looked up his photo. OMG is he blind? He isn't even attractive! He is a plastic surgery nightmare! At least back up your own policy!
I agree with the person that said if you think size 12 is huge then you have no ass. Haha It's true tho. Not everyone is a flat board that wears size 0 and XS. Some people actually have a shape. It doesn't make you unhealthy. I know thin people who are in worse health than people who wear 14s or up.
You wouldn't catch me dead in a&f even if this Dominican booty fit In a sexier 10. The clothes are tasteless!
Re: candied20 – If you were half as smart as you think you are, you'd know that not all diabetics are over weight or even adults. So congratulations on completely alienating a group of individuals who have a potentially life threatening illness that is not caused primarily by obesity. Anyone with a true hourglass figure knows that the waist size means nothing, because the clothes at these "premium" stores are made for girls with boy figures.
"but you don't excite anybody, either"… your clothes aren't that exciting to begin with. They look the same every season.at least H&M and American eagle explore colors, patterns and styles of clothing, its always the same thing with A&F
Re: candied20 – N
Here is newsflash for you, not everyone who takes an XL is obese…Some people are just naturally larger (taller and therefore heavier -NOT FAT) !
Thanks for letting us know. I will never shop there again.
it's funny to me…abercrombie is the mean, cool kid in high school…the one that thinks that you have to look a certain way to be attractive or to be notice BUT just like real life…eventually we graduate from high school and go to college and realize that those "cool kids" are just annoying and self centered bitches…i mean who wears abercrombie post-18 years old?!
p.s. i cannot believe how many people write such rude and insulting comments about Perez…if you don't like him or you don't find him attractive, who gives a shit. don't come to his website then…i feel like that should be obvious.
best advice I ever got: i told my mom i thought some girl was ugly…my mom responded: someone probably thinks that about you…and i realized she was right. everyone has their own opinion about beauty.
Stop spreading hate. (Mr.TaylorSwift
this is so true they only want good looking people working at there stores, i got hired at Hollister wich is an abercrombie sister store and the first week i worked for 3 days which is super good for a new worker because they usually give new employes like 1 day of work and the rest are call ins where you call to see if you are need and the answer is always no. When you first get hired they make you put on a abercrombie/ hollister outfit on and take a picture in front of the store. then they send that picture to head people of abercrimbie and they say if you are good looking or not and if you can be a model for the store. Well let me tell you my second week of working there i just got call in's on my schedule and that means basically that you dont work i got that on my schedule for two weeks straight. I think its because they head people of abercrombie/hollister saw my picture and didnt think i was good looking enough and since you cant fire people for not being good looking they just gave me 0 working hours for two weeks straight, i just quit i didnt even tell them that i was quitting because i was so pissed of, i dont shop there anymore and besides who still wears hollister clothe?
I don't see what the problem is
Only basic lame bitches buy that sh!t
Re: misscheriamor – stole the words out of my mouth…right away some people will focus on the weight issue (does people do loooove to criticize big persons) but it has nothing to do with that and more to do with making young kids feel bad to look different. It's bullying at it's strongest. And who said only thin people were cool?? Really? It's so fucking unbelievable
Re: candied20 – Their size 12 is more like a real size 8. They are usually incredibly low cut so if you have any hips they do NOT fit. Having hips does not count as a health problem. I am below the recommended weight for my height and I still can't fit in those jeans correctly.
Re: Her – You sound disgusting. Gain some weight. Its pretty pathetic that you seem to be bragging that you are that disgustingly unhealthy
Their clothes run small anyway. The few times I've ever shopped there, I had to buy the largest sizes because of that. But I never understood the appeal of the A&F look. Their clothes are for boring, white-bread, conformist gay guys with no fashion sense who tell everyone they're "straight-acting" and masculine.
Used to shop there a LOT and spent lots of money (talking camel hair sport coat - not a pair of jeans or Tshirt). Went in one year and the stock had TOTALLY changed. Never spent a dime there since. Their store, they can decide who they want to market to.
If you're not happy with who you are and what you look like, don't expect the world to fix that for you through affirmation or catering to you. Only you can fix that from within.
And if you are happy with yourself, you should be able to ignore the parts of the world that don't serve you. I don't get bent out of shape because children's shoe stores don't have anything my size or that golf stores don't have anything that interests me. But who cares, because I'm truly happy being a non-child, non-golfer.
Ugh, this is such bullshit though. I once got a sweatshirt and tee shirt from there for christmas (the only thing I ever owned from there). My mom bought a large shirt and XL sweatshirt because of my boobs (34 DDD) and the stuff was WAY TOO TIGHT. I had to struggle to get the shit over my boobs (it was loose on the rest of my body) and I couldn't zip the sweatshirt up over my boobs if I wanted to. Their clothes are designed for girls who are twigs and have absolutely no chest or an ounce of body fat on them.
Some of you are saying things that are completly idiotic. The fact of the matter is,if you can afford it you are going to buy what you like. I have seen tons of people that shouldn't be wearing certain clothes for whatever reason, but they wear them anyway. Not going to a XL or XXL is cutting in on their profit and people are going to squeeze themselves into whatever they can. So, the clothes are going to look horrible on them and not having their proper size still makes thier clothes look bad.
Re: Mr.TaylorSwift – why are you even on this site if you don't like perez? You sound like you hate everyone. Also, Perez is not fat and could fit into their clothes. So, before you say something like that, you might want to take a look at what people look like.
Abercrombie clothes are boring as fuck. Who wears that crap past age 15?
the clothes are way overpriced and you can get the same clothes at American eagle for cheaper
and thank you mike Jeffries for making my self esteem go down even more than it already was
Re: Her – That happens to me too! Bah! people just dont understand that you can be skinny and EAT A LOT! You cant control it. Is awful that most designer clothes wont fit, because they are loose.
Re: Lindsay – And yet you are implying that thin people are sick. And bashing a fit/skinny body. When you say celebrate ALL BODY SHAPES, that isnt just for making FAT PEOPLE feel better.. is to ALL SHAPES.
This is disgusting!! I'm a 22 year old with a brain tumour that lies on specific receptors of my brain which causes me to gain weight fast and to lose it, is 3x harder but for 6months I ate hardly anything and got released from hospital only last week due to collapsing.
I used to be a size 8 until I fell ill. It's people like this that made me ill. I needed to be on a drip and I was awake 2hours a day, I got that weak. All because I wanted to be slim again and not be looked at for being 'obese'. I'm a size 16 and in UK, I'm an average. I used to be a size 20 and it took 6months to drop it.
What will they do if someone in my situation dies because people like this made them feel bad about themselves??
if they are eating 20meals a day, they need some help but for those who are medically screwed, this is all so wrong!!
And before anyone comments, I want my tumour removed but the removal has an extremely high risk of causing brain damage.
People like this need to wake up and realise, the world does not revolve around them. They are disgusting. They should be closed down for these comments. I hope they go bankrupt.
Maybe then they'll realise their mistakes and can live with the regret.
Unless you're a fat you wont be offended by this…why are people so concern about hurting obese people they have a HEALTH PROBLEM !!!!!!! god damn
Oh my God. I had no idea that being overweight might be bad for you. If you hadn't told me, I would have gone around thinking that fat people were human beings! WHAT THE FUCK WAS WRONG WITH ME? Now that I know better, I can troll info-sites and shame all of the "fatties" into putting down the fork.
These non-humans are so superficial, thinking they have a right wear clothes. HOLY SHIT. It is all clicking now. And when people write about fat people rights, that's the biggest waste of time on the planet.
I am SAVED! I have been ENLIGHTENED!
Thank you. THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!111!!!@!!!!
I guess Mike Jeffries has never met a mirror when he said that he only wants attractive people to wear A&F clothes. Either that or he really doesn't wear A&F clothes at all.
Apparently to be "cool and good looking" you also have to be white, hardly anyone of "color' in those ads.
this guy looked in the mirror is no where near attractive…
Re: mina – I'm a size 2 and I think this is wrong. Not all larger people are unhealthy or have health problems. So you need to learn some respect, you don't know their story so you have no right to judge. I hate A&F clothing and I choke yo death on the perfume thry spray in their stores. You can buy cuter clothes at walmart these days than at a&f. Si there goes your idiotic thought that only "fat" people would be offended.
This makes me outraged!!!! As if these children need so called "adults" like this incredibly ignorant CEO to bully them with these tactics. How can anyone buy anything from this company that encourages people to pick on or bully those that aren't his idea of "beauty". Obviously there is something seriously wrong with this man's mental state of mind. All I have to say to this CEO is obviously you weren't one of the "cool kids" and to stop trying so hard to make them like you. You're embarrassing yourself by being everything that we are trying to teach the new generation that is wrong with society. You should be ashamed of yourself and what beliefs you are trying to impose on today's young generation.
"That’s why we hire good-looking people in our stores. Because good-looking people attract other good-looking people, and we want to market to cool, good-looking people. "
So he just admitted that he discriminates in hiring isn't that illegal ?
i don't care if they make big clothes or not. I'm a size 2 and I still wouldn't wear their boring looking clothes.
Re: Her – get. A. Life
Is he…. German?? Zing.
I love all the people saying "uh this is disgusting I'm never shopping there again" if you have ever seen an A&F you should realize right away that this was their intention. I give them credit for coming right out an saying it. I do not see how this is any different than a plus sized store. I wouldn't shop in a plus size store and expect to leave with something that's going to fit me. So good for the CEO for being able to come out and say what he wants for his store!
Re: candied20 – So people above a size 12 should just go naked because no one wants the wearing their clothes?
Re: mina – Spoken like a true skinny bitch…
You have to make large cloths for the normal fat Americans because there is not enough of the mini muscle twilight types that could keep your chinese workers busy making your gay clothes.
A&F is largely a gay brand in the UK. I don't see many girls wearing it. The gays love it and it is a brand which essentially advertises your gay orientation to attract guys. I think their CEO would have been better to have said that his brand promotes having a healthy BMI. If you can't fit in our clothes then you are unhealthy and need to do something about it. That doesn't mean having to work out at the gym 24/7; just control your calorie intake. Will power and determination.
I can not wait until all you skinny bitches get older and have weight issues. It is only a matter of time. Tick toc, tick toc…..
I don't like the idea personally, but that's like saying that the Avenue clothes store doesn't want skinny people shopping there for themselves. It's the same difference.
Abercrombie is the biggest joke. This is what's wrong with society! Not everyone can be a size 0 or a size 2. And I can guarantee that being stick thin is just as 'disgusting' and 'gross' as being obese. What gets me the most is that this CEO prick is purposely making it his goal to make young girls feel shitty about themselves, so they can lose weight and spend $90 to have a stupid brand plastered across their chest. I've never even walking into a Abercrombie store and I don't plan on it. Their clothes are unoriginal and predictable; they dont "excite".
Limiting his own sales? Priceless.
LOL comming from a guy whos face is pretty BUSTED!!! I'm not offended. Being skinny dosnt make you automatically cool or beautiful. Hope their sales go way down, if the guy wants to be a huge jerk at least have the face n bod to back it #BUSTED lol
I would also like to point out that no "popular kids" these days wear the brand Abercrombie and Fitch …we call those kids who wear the brand in middle school "wannabee". I recently graduated high school, and during high school I do a lot of visiting in other high schools since I'm a part of our student leadership in my school, I used to hold a PR student position. From what I've observed, the so-called "popular kids" (from 50+ high schools I've visited from my sophomore to senior year) doesn't even wear Abercrombie at all … no "cool kids" would dare to wear the brand since it's so teenybopper and those kids are too insecure of being tease by their other cool friends. Plus, take a look at recent high school yearbook, and you will be amazed how the "popular crowd" wear anything but the preppy brand such as A&F.
As for Mike Jeffries, he's a delusional, out-of-touch 70 year old trying to chase the fountain of youth…ew. Also by his statement "we want to market to cool, good-looking people"…. I think he should probably visit several public places like the mall and observe the actual demographic that wear the brand….
Well it's a private company and if that's what they want for their store then so be it. There are stores catered to larger people so I don't mind if their are others exclusive to the thinner folks.
Wow, what an asshole of a person. You want the "cool kids" wearing your clothes, ha pathetic. Jesus Christ some of the ppl that wear those clothes aren't even part of the "cool kids" crowd they are just thin. & to the stupid ppl agreeing with his statement are fucking ignorant & fucking shallow. If you guys read it he said he wanted the "cool kids" & "attractive ppl attract attractive ppl" he's clearly spreading negative attitude, basically saying its ok to exclude the "ugly ppl" & "the losers." He never referenced to the fact that A&F makes smaller clothes so that larger ppl can make an effort to lose weight, so for those of you that are you using that argument RE-FUCKEN READ THE WHOLE THING. This guy was probably bullied in HS & not part of the "cool kids" crowd. Motherfuker should look at himself in the mirror more often. & please their clothes were in a one point but their time has passed & gone. & you what I think is ridiculous is that Mike Sorrentino from The Jersey Shore wore their clothes, he's fit with muscles & they were prepared to pay him to to wear their clothes all because he was a part of the show. Really?! If they keep building their list of criteria they're going to be facing bankruptcy soon. I read somewhere a while back that the company was in trouble. This isn't going to help
Ultimately, your business model is your business model, but it seems odd coming from the man who's clothes are the epitome of everything mainstream, plain, popular, and normal. That translates to "vanilla" pretty quickly.
While it sounds bad and actually is bad for larger people, I understand his point. He wants his creations to look good and that means on bodies that make the clothes look good, on bodies that are his target sizes. It's his right. On the other hand, he could make up an exclusive large size clothing line but we all know that none of those clothes would look GOOD, even if they were made for obese people, because in general obese bodies don't flatter clothing. His goal is to make beautiful things, he doesn't have to pander to the fat community if he doesn't want to, and it's not discrimination… If he brought out a line for dogs, could the cat owners scream discrimination? No, because the stuff was made for dogs. Why would he have to include cats if he was designing for dogs? Maybe he doesn't care about what is good for business.
Re: ryan – As shocking as this seems yes. They hire their sales people as "models" so they can hire and fire if your appearance changes/you dye or cut your hair/you gain or lose weight/get a tattoo, piercing etc. One hundred percent legal and one hundred percent wrong.
Re: Disgusted – well said!
Re: imasocialbutterfly – Nothing discriminatory about it. They simply don't make clothes for morbidly obese people and they aren't obligated to do so.
Re: Lindsay – Obesity isn't something to celebrate and not making clothing for such people isn't "encouraging eating disorders". Get a grip.
Re: hannah – Sorry, but that's just stupid. If you run a public facing company, a retail operation or restaurant for example, you have every right to dictate what your staff look like and how they present themselves.
Re: Brad – Re: Lindsay – Further to the point above, genuine medical disorders aside, if you're obese, you already have an eating disorder.
This, coming from a man who looks like f*ckin' Frankenstein. Asswipe!!!
Love all these comments agreeing with this nonsense. What if the word fat was exchanged with the word gay or black? Would you all be so understanding and in agreement of his ideas and way of thinking then? My guess is no. So why is it ok to come down on overweight people but not others? Wrong is wrong. Whether you're excluding blacks, gays, the handicap, or overweight people.
I am a size 12, I'm also sexy as hell with huge tits, a big ass and I'm covered in tattoos. However, I have tons of friends and I am pretty cool too! I am very healthy AND work at a Fitness Club. I am quite happy with not fitting this douchbag's ideal of beauty!
Is it just me or is the models and most people associated with this "white"?
If people are on such an uproar about this, then just fire the CEO! He's a total buttface! Im a size four in there jeans and i weigh 150 (all muscles), I'm not nor do i want to be popular. Yet, I can pull off there items. Just because you weigh a certain ammont shouldn't mean you should be judged by society in a bully-like way. Hollister goes up to a size XL, why shouldn't A&F do it also?! Yet, after this argument, i will still by clothing from A&F cause they have good quality and they fit me well.
My daughters are A&F's target audience - young, athletic, beautiful. Guess who isn't any of those things? THEIR MOTHER…you know, the one with the wallet and enough disposable income to actually buy their overpriced rags.
Too bad I can't come in the store to purchase things for my daughters (I'm too ugly to be allowed in, etc) as they like the A&F brand. On the upside, they do like AE, Aeropostale, H&M, and Forever 21, which don't seem to mind my less-than-ideal figure. Two guesses as to where my disposable income will be going when it comes time to go shopping, eh?
wel they also hire strippers because my friend was a stripper while working at A&F. Not very all american but she was popular with the mens and some women. lol
It's kinda funny because in his own quote he says he wants to the people he attracts to have a "great attitude". Now I ask you , how many people do you know that wear Abercrombie & Fitch that have a "great attitude" and are not total pricks that think their shit doesn't stink. Better yet, how many of them can even spell Abercrombie & Fitch. Think about it for a minute.
As someone who is young, cool, hip and somewhat of a fashionista, I would never be caught dead in A&F. They really need to make some bigger sizes so they can sell to the 30-40 year old customers because that's the demographic that buys their ugly shit. I guess they hate money.
I'd rather spend my money at Modcloth, Ruche or Romwe and get something that's actually cute.
Jeffries was beaten up as a kid because he was so fugly. Now he's taking it out on fat people.
Re: candied20 – Re: candied20 – You are one stupid bitch.
Absolute childish nonsense! Acting as if they are the cool kids in school, all I can do is laugh and roll my eyes. Grow the F up!
Re: Mr.TaylorSwift –
Dumbest thing I've heard anyone say all day.
Re: sick_girl – OMG. I google imaged him because of your comment, and there is a picture of him & Biff (Back to the Future). OMG THEY ARE TWINS. He looks exactly like Biff!!
I see absolutely nothing wrong with what the A&F CEO is doing; it's a free country, and he can have any business model he chooses. For those of you who are being liberal sheep and saying you won't shop there, he probably doesn't want your ugly selves or your money anyhow, so in the end, none of you matters.
Re: Bolivwx – Okay, but the difference is that I am a size 8 and have been inside the Avenue when shopping with or for my fuller figured friends and family and they have never made me feel unwelcomed. A&F is making people feel like their money isn't good or that you can't even be in their store unless you fit their concept of "beauty". For all they know, someone could be coming into their shitty store to buy something for someone else! But none of this matters to me. I don't patronize them! I take my money to H&M, where the clothes are more affordable and fashionable! Their employees are also nicer and prettier! 😊
No one even shops there anymore… clearly a desperate cry for some media attention. Many stores do not have plus size clothing, but don't advertise that it is because they only want the beautiful skinny people to wear it. Duh a lot of stores do that. But if you are going to make that public knowledge at least have some class.
what I don't get is, just because somebodys fat/overweight doesn't mean they are not beautiful.. you don't know how many overweight people I see who I would die to look like! im not fat, but im still never shopping at Abercrombie again!
All I know is that my 13 year old daughter has been wearing Abercrombie clothing from the get-go. It's the only line of clothing that fits her naturally thin and tall body. She's just got long bones, all arms and legs. Children's Place clothing never fit her properly, always too wide, designed for larger boned kids, I'm not saying fat! I remember having the same problem, especially with jeans as I have the same bone structure as my daughter. Jeans that fit me in width were too short in length so I was stuck with floody-duddy pants. I wish Abercrombie was around during my youth. Oh and just want to add for all the people that think skinny people all have an eating disorders, my daughter is more than happy to devour a whole medium pizza down! I don't know where she stashes it but I could never put weight on either. All this aside, I think this CEOs attitude sucks and he is a prick but at least his clothing fits us super-model framed people. I'm still going to purchase their clothing because my daughter finds them comfortable.
To no one's surprise, Kylie Jenner's new Valentine's Collection lip kits completely sold out on Friday!
The 18-year-old has been teasing the three new colors, Koko K, Mary Jo K, and Posie K, on her Instagram for a few weeks, but the launch date was a total surprise to her followers!
The only hint anyone received from the starlet was "the release is closer than you think."
Because that's not vague! LOLz!
Well, the colors and restocking of the original three nudes dropped at 9 a.m. PST on February 5, and it took no time for each color to sell out at $29 each.
Watch King Kylie lose her shiz as she sees it go down, all while Kris Jenner actually started to cry (!!):
