Well, this is a surprise.
We would have pegged Nicole Kidman as a more logical spokesmodel for L'Wren Scott rather than Jimmy Choo, but an ad campaign is an ad campaign!
The 45-year-old actress has just been announced as the newest face of the lux brand, which is only weirder when you consider that she wears Manolo Blahniks and Nicholas Kirkwood heels far more often.
But, of course, everyone is happy with the partnership!
The new creative director of the label, Sandra Choi, said:
"I'm such a great admirer and feel enormously honoured to be working with Nicole Kidman. Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world, who I knew could convey the empowered glamour of the brand. But she is also so nuanced and refined; she brings an attitude of defiance, strength, sensuality and elegance."
Nicole, herself, is obviously ecstatic about the project, adding:
"I've always loved fashion, and often use it as a way to get into character. There is a lot of complexity, mystery and femininity to the Jimmy Choo woman."
Just like you, right Nic?
The ads, shot by Mikael Jansson, are scheduled to break in the August issues, so keep your eyes peeled!
