Sh*t just got REAL!
Gaetano Ruta, the prosecutor in the Dolce & Gabbana tax evasion case, is NOT going easy on the Italian designers!
He has requested that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, as well as boardmember Cristiana Ruella, each be sentenced to two and a half years in prison.
They totes serve champagne and caviar behind bars, right? Hey, this is ITALIAN prison we're talking about!
Ruta saved the worst indictment of three years in prison for the design duo's accountant Luciano Patelli, whom he identified as the main person responsible for the crimes.
Meanwhile, Domenico's brother Alfonso Dolce and financial director Giuseppe Minoni each face up to two years themselves.
Only one person may get off scot-free in the end — Ruta asked that defendant Antoine Noella, the company manager, be absolved.
If Domenico and Stefano go to prison, who will fill the world's quota of seksi lace dresses?
We hope judge Antonella Brambilla considers the plight of the red carpet before making a decision.
