An icon posing for Icon magazine wearing pieces from her Icon Collection. LOLz!
Victoria Beckham strikes a sultry stance in one of her classic strapless LBD designs on the German mag's May cover.
In the second shot (below), she wears that gorgeous colorblocked dress from the Icon Collection that she loves so much.
Poshy also gets chatty with the mag about her growing role in the fashion world.
"They are really nice. There were certainly times of great competition among designers as in Italy. But I think this is over and I'm already good with all designers. I do not see anyone as competition, there is room for everyone. And I'm happy with mine. I like that there are now many great designers like Phoebe Philo, Stella McCartney and Frida Giannini of Gucci. So many strong women, that's great."
She also reveals how she handles being a creative director and businesswoman at the same time, admitting:
"I follow my instincts and have a very good small team around me, such as my business partner Simon Fuller and some others who advise me. I never pretend to know everything. We all learn and I rely on this company piece by piece, and although it has grown very quickly, I try to keep control. This is important to me."
Of course, Posh talks up her designs a bit, as she should. She said:
"They are sexy, but not sexual. Flattering. And I now also offer trousers, blazers, skirts. My idea behind it is rather: for all occasions and for every woman."
And she once again explains how much she's always loved fashion, in case anyone was still wondering:
"As long as I can remember, I found fashion thrilling. My mother was very feminine, wearing designer pieces, was always coiffed, made up, very presentable. And I was always a girlie. Even when I was very young, I have collected fake diamonds and rhinestones, I browsed early in fashion magazines, boxes full of pretty things. A friend of my mother wore Chanel perfume and I always talked to her on the empty bottles in order to hoard it in the bathroom cabinet. Empty, of course. Unfortunately. And yes, I The e-commerce is a big challenge for me. It is exciting, fun, and it's the place where I sell the Icon Collection from my favorite pieces exclusively. I'm looking forward to the feedback and also getting to know my client. Where she lives, what sizes you need. Our success also rests on our very different offer."
Don't ever stop winning at life, Victoria!
